OVERVIEW
Graphic in Space is an academic magazine developed during my third semester at Humber Polytechnic. The publication explores the role of graphic design within architecture and interior design, positioning graphics not just as visual communication but as an integral part of spatial experience.
CONCEPT
This project investigates how graphic design extends beyond flat surfaces to exist within space, guiding movement, influencing perception, and enhancing narrative within built environments. By combining analytical research with real-world case studies and observational encounters, the magazine aims to bridge the gap between graphic and spatial design, highlighting their interconnected relationship in contemporary practice.

VISUAL DESIGN
The visual language is editorial and structured, balancing clarity with expressive contrast. A refined typographic system and a controlled yet varied palette work together to establish hierarchy and visual rhythm. Grid-based layouts, image pairings, and shifts in scale guide the reading flow, reflecting movement through space. The design treats graphic elements as spatial cues, shaping how content is navigated and experienced.
